Unlike traditional retinal imaging, which captures only a small portion of the retina, the ZEISS CLARUS 500 scans up to 200 degrees in a single image — covering approximately 82% of the retina. This allows our optometrist to visualise areas of the retina that would otherwise be difficult or impossible to assess during a standard examination.
